FUSHI 9T5 U-Shape Dump box Semi-Trailer

The FUSHI 9T5 U-Shape Dump Semi-Trailer is jointly developed by VIMID and FUSHI to meet the demanding requirements of heavy-duty transportation. Featuring a modern design, robust construction and high load-bearing capacity, the semi-trailer is well suited for transporting construction materials, earth, rocks and ores, as well as supporting earthmoving, construction and mining operations.

Hydraulic System

The semi-trailer is equipped with a FUSHI 225-5 telescopic hydraulic hoist cylinder, featuring a maximum cylinder diameter of 225 mm and a five-stage design. The maximum lifting stroke reaches 7,200 mm, providing an extended lifting range for efficient unloading operations.

U-Shape Dump Box

The dump box has internal dimensions of 8,530 × 2,320 × 1,315 mm (L × W × H), providing a cargo capacity of up to 22.83 m³.

The side walls, floor, front panel and rear panel are constructed from high-strength NM450Tuf steel, with a uniform thickness of 4 mm. This construction enhances overall structural rigidity, minimizes deformation under heavy loads and improves abrasion resistance during demanding operating conditions.

Key design features include:

One-Piece Press-Formed Side Walls – Enhanced Rigidity and Deformation Resistance

The side walls are manufactured from one-piece pressed steel sheets, minimizing welded joints and increasing overall structural rigidity. This design helps prevent bulging, cracking and deformation when transporting heavy materials.

Each side wall features seven formed reinforcing bends, improving resistance to outward deformation while facilitating material discharge. The specially shaped profile helps materials slide down more easily during unloading, reducing material buildup and blockages, particularly when handling highly adhesive materials.

The upper edges of the side walls are also press-formed into a peaked profile, helping prevent earth and rocks from accumulating on the edges and falling outside the dump box during operation.

Reinforced Side Ribs – Greater Structural Strength

Each side wall is reinforced with five large-section stiffeners, including four side reinforcing ribs, each 300 mm wide, and one rear load-bearing reinforcing rib measuring 400 mm in width.

This reinforcement system increases the load-bearing strength of the side walls and minimizes deformation under pressure from heavy cargo during transportation.

Reinforced Floor Structure – High Load Capacity and Improved Resistance to Bending

The dump box floor features four main longitudinal load-bearing beams made from formed steel plates, measuring 140 × 76 mm. Combined with transverse crossmembers arranged in an interlocking framework, this structure distributes loads more evenly, increases bending resistance and helps prevent floor deflection when carrying heavy materials.

In addition, the double-layer reinforced floor construction uses high-strength steel to improve impact resistance and abrasion resistance when transporting earth, rocks, ores and construction materials on a regular basis.

An anti-rollover stabilizing assembly is also incorporated into the dump box floor structure, helping maintain semi-trailer stability during tipping and unloading operations and reducing the risk of imbalance.

Chassis Frame System

• Main chassis beams: The main beams measure 520 × 150/150 mm, with a top flange thickness of 14 mm and a bottom flange thickness of 16 mm. Their large cross-sectional dimensions provide high load-bearing capacity and bending resistance while improving the overall rigidity of the chassis frame during operation.
• X-shaped cross-bracing: Two X-shaped cross-bracing assemblies are incorporated into the chassis frame and securely welded in place. This design increases frame rigidity, improves torsional resistance and minimizes deformation when operating on uneven or challenging terrain.
• High-strength steel construction: The chassis frame is manufactured from LG700L high-strength steel, providing enhanced structural rigidity, improved deformation resistance and reliable performance under heavy-duty operating conditions.
• Gooseneck structure: The gooseneck section, extending from the front of the semi-trailer to the landing gear assembly, features a double-layer steel construction with thicknesses of 8 + 6 mm. This reinforced design improves resistance to concentrated loads, bending and torsional forces in this critical load-bearing area.
• Extended tipping pivot shaft: The tipping pivot shaft is extended by 100 mm on each side, increasing the total tipping pivot width to 1,600 mm. The wider configuration improves lateral stability and helps maintain balance during lifting and unloading operations.
• Large-diameter tipping pivot shaft: The pivot shaft has a diameter of Ø110 mm. Its end sections undergo heat treatment and precision grinding to achieve a smooth surface finish, improve durability and support smoother tipping operations.
• Grease-retaining pivot supports: The tipping hinge supports feature two spiral-shaped grease grooves designed to retain lubricant at the contact surfaces and maintain effective lubrication during operation. This helps ensure smoother movement throughout the tipping process.

Suspension System

The leaf spring suspension system uses 55CrMnA high-strength spring steel and consists of 10 leaves, each measuring 16 mm in thickness and 100 mm in width.

The wide leaf spring design increases the contact area, improves load distribution and helps maintain stability under heavy-duty operating conditions.

Landing Gear and Kingpin System

The semi-trailer is equipped with a 90 mm kingpin manufactured from special-grade material, providing high load-bearing strength and excellent resistance to tensile forces during operation.

The landing gear system uses FUWA landing gear, a well-established brand recognized for product quality and durability, with a rated load capacity of 80 tonnes.

Featuring a single-side crank handle, the landing gear allows convenient operation while reducing the time and physical effort required for raising and lowering. Its widely available components also make maintenance, repair and replacement more convenient.

FUSHI 9T5 – Built for Demanding Heavy-Duty Transportation

With its high-strength NM450Tuf steel U-shape dump box, reinforced chassis frame, high-capacity hydraulic hoist system and durable suspension components, the FUSHI 9T5 U-Shape Dump Semi-Trailer is engineered to handle demanding heavy-duty transportation applications.

Designed for construction materials, earth, rocks and mining operations, the semi-trailer combines structural strength, reliable tipping performance and operational stability to support efficient transportation and long-term performance under challenging working conditions.
